T.P.S.S.E.

TeleTrusT Professional for Secure Software Engineering

In 2016 the "CPSSE" certificate program has been transferred from ISSECO to TeleTrusT and the brand has been changed into "T.P.S.S.E.". TeleTrusT is carrier of the T.P.S.S.E. brand.

The TeleTrusT Professional for Secure Software Engineering certificate covers the entire software development lifecycle. The certificate is designed for all who are involved in software engineering, such as designers, architects, programmers, testers, requirements engineers, and project managers. Mistakes in any phase of development could lead to security defects that leave the software vulnerable to hackers. The T.P.S.S.E. training teaches how to prevent these mistakes and gives a fundamental approach to creating secure software.

Main topics include:

  • Viewpoints of attackers and customers
  • Trust & threat models
  • Methodologies
  • Requirements engineering with respect to security
  • Secure design
  • Secure coding
  • Security testing
  • Secure deployment
  • Security response
  • Security metrics
  • Code & resource protection
