ISSE 2015

17th ISSE Conference: 10th - 11th November 2015 in Berlin, Germany

ISSE is Europe’s leading independent, interdisciplinary, unbiased and European focused conference. It features the presentation and discussion of technical, commercial, organisational, legal and political challenges for information security as well as privacy and data protection.

Over the past sixteen years ISSE has built an unrivalled reputation for world-class speakers and a truly independent perspective on the e-security market across Europe. It attracts hundreds of professionals including industry experts, commercial end-users and government policy-makers.

At ISSE 2015 attendees joined industry experts, academics and government officials in a series of panel debates, seminars and workshops, across three tracks, discussing issues of security, privacy, trust and identity.

ISSE provided the ideal platform for the dissemination, qualification and discussion of the key European Commission security objectives and policy directions. Independent debate and discussion allowed delegates and security providers to address head-on the technical and political challenges involved in converting government policy into commercial reality in today's security sector.

ISSE 2015 took place at the vibrant, centrally located Hotel Palace Berlin, Germany. Jointly organised by EEMA and TeleTrusT, this year’s two-day Programme presented the latest thinking on making Europe a safer place to do business with best practice examples and the most valuable advice on security today. It included major contributions from the world’s most respected speakers.

Wojciech Wiewiorowski, Assistant European Data Protection Supervisor, welcomed the participants at the ISSE conference on November 10th. In the evening Klaus Vitt, IT Commissioner of the German federal government and Secretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior, delivered a speech on "Building Security, Protection and Trust within Society and the Economy" at the Conference Dinner.
